How to deal with Memory Foam Heat?

I got this new memory foam mattress and the heat is starting to irritate me. i woke up many times at night from the sweat. recently the weather is very cold, for instance today is like 0 degree and i was still sweating. the half of the body that is on the mattress is sweaty and the other half is chillly. i even wore shorts and short sleeves to sleep at this weather but still woke from sweat. anyone else having the same or similar problem. how did deal with this problem?

I have a memory foam pillow and I won’t get a mattress for that exact reason. The synthetic foam makes my head sweat profusely. Unfortunately, I need a pillow with that kind of configuration because of a neck injury. I have problems with synthetic clothing also.
If the mattress has a trial period and it has not expired yet, you may want to get a new mattress. You probably won’t be happy with this one.
I can tell you, you won’t get used to it.
